A Leisurely Pace

The scant two inches of snow we received overnight resulted in a delayed school opening this morning. Which made for a great reprieve from the daily 45 minute routine of hustling with getting kids dressed, lunches made, breakfasts eaten, hair brushed and the sound of me nagging and threatening every step along the way.

It also made for a fun wait for the school bus.
Leisurely morning is over. Aiming to plow through some freelance this afternoon in order to free up some time to work on the next robot. Newest design is templated (and I just think it’s so freaking cute!) and I just need to cut, cut, cut. Made some small, yet significant, revisions to the Gone Fishing one that I’ll post when I photograph the pieces.

Can’t wait to see the new robot design
I grew up in the snow-bound prairies of Saskatchewan and NEVER had a Snow Day. Didn’t matter if it was two inches or twenty…. But I’m really glad, though, that they exist in some places and that you were able to enjoy a leisurely morning. Great photos!
Great photos, I miss the snow. I imagine it’d be beautiful out here in the desert where there is less traffic to muck it all up like back home in NYC.It looks like your wee one enjoyed it!
Waiting to see your new designs. It is so refreshing to see the snow. We are so hot down here in the Southern Hemisphere…
