…getting obsessed with robots. I think it’s contagious!
I’ve scoured the internet in hopes of scoring really cool robot sheets or duvet cover for Leon’s room. Even Matt got in on the project. Darn that Pottery Barn for discontinuing their amazing robot sheets. A last ditch effort last night led me to the French store Fred the Dog found via Cup of Coco. A tweet or two later, my friend Nichole informed me that the shop was only 15 feet away from where she was just staying in Montematre. Argh for terrible timing!
Still it’s not out of grasp. My friend Ariane is from Paris and offered to phone up the shop to see if international delivery is possible. And Nichole offered to pick it up on her next trip across the pond in a month. Leon’s new bed arrives in two weeks and it would be awfully nice to have a complete room transformation to hopefully entice him to stay in his own room all night long.
On other news, my first robot shadowbox is coming along very nicely. I’m hoping to finish it up today. I’ll share it on here when I photograph it.
Oh, nuts! That’s too bad the stars didn’t align a little quicker for you. Well, all good things come to those who wait. And to those who have a Nichole.
So - you are an awesome cutter of things…have you considered cutting a stencil or 2 and painting your own?

I am always amazed when I see my robots (”fred the dog”, it’s me) all over the world ! I am very happy you like them.
To answer a few questions : yes, we ship almost everywhere, via our online store. No, we don’t have a store in Montmartre, this is the headquarters address, but if a friend of yours calls us while she is in Paris, we can bring her what you want.
But check the size first !
