Post-Holiday Post

Hello, hello! Did you have a great holiday? We had an amazing holiday with Matt’s family in Boston. I must have been very good this year because I received TWO new lenses for my camera (70-200mm zoom and a 60mm macro.) So I guess you can expect lots of pictures in the posts to come as I become acquainted with my new toys.
That little vintage mechanical horse pictured above belongs to Matt’s grandmother and is every bit as charming to adults as it is to Amelia. She asks to play with it every time we visit. The kids were thoroughly spoiled by Santa and sweets this year.
We had an incredibly unique experience on our trip that I’m holding off on posting about for the present. But, WOW, I’m still thinking about it days later. And I think we are going back for MORE! After a self-induced refresher course. Intrigued? Check back…

That picture of Leon at the piano is fantastic. Looking forward to getting a piano some day for the house… if Amelia had any interest I think we’d already have one.

Look at those little elves–the sweetest! You’re really getting the knack of that new camera huh? I just got one for Christmas myself–it arrived yesterday and so far I’ve not done much more than stare at it with a dumb look! Perhaps I’ll play today.

Lucky you with your new lens.
