After wrapping up the calendar project last week, I envisioned a few days to decompress and work on some ideas that have been brewing over the last few months. I spent an hour on a new lamp design and then took Amelia out for some one-on-one time. The week was fully hands-on with the kids. Leon was sick and missed daycare, and recovered in time to go back on a day that Amelia had no school. I had exactly three hours where I was completely caught up on work when a sudden and unexpected onset of orders started pouring in thanks to this article. By the end of the day Friday, I was completely spent. My mother arrived and took over. God I love her. I slept copious amounts this weekend, had a great date with Matt in Lambertville, NJ involving a three course lunch complete with wine, and even managed some uninterrupted work hours on both Saturday and Sunday mornings.

Oh! In other news, the Tooth Fairy made her first appearance in our house last night! Amelia was very excited to get her first dollar. I was really choked up to see her sweet, gapped smile.
